Pictures
Some of these photos catch the Brothers in their natural habitat. Some are posed, much like swimsuit models. If you click on the smaller ones, stand back, as they will become larger.
At the Green Mill as part of the Paper Machete
We performed as part of the always incredible Paper Machete at the historic Green Mill in Chicago. Talented photographer Sarah Larson @selfoto was there to take pictures! (She must contact us within 60 days if she requires remuneration for any damage our spiky personalities might have done to her camera's digital sensor.)

Another great show at Wishbone on Lincoln Avenue
A great friendly crowd, and this time not so annoyingly overcrowded with hooligans and autograph-seekers. (Less well-attended.) Thanks again to Ruth Kaufman for the pix!
At Wishbone on Lincoln Avenue
This show was terrific fun, partly because the place was completely packed! The crowd overwhelmed the poor server, who couldn't sling nearly as much alcohol as people wanted -- and yet folks still enjoyed the show! Special thanks to our fan and friend Ruth Kaufman for taking these great pictures.
At the Honky-Tonk Hootenanny
The Famous Brothers Honky-Tonk Hootenanny was an institution in Chicago, at least during the brief period during which it was performed. The February 26th show featured special guests Joel Patterson and Sugarcreek Road. At the end of every Hootenanny, everybody came onstage for a final song. That time it was for the song "City of New Orleans." Thanks so much to Jackie Jasperson for taking so many great pictures that night, many of which made the Brothers look nearly human.
For the January 29th Honky-Tonk Hootenanny, special guests were Tangleweed and Eric Lambert, who's standing between The Brothers and surprise guest Izzy Famous (Jay Bonansinga). The song? "Good-night Irene" -- a sing-along favorite!
